options materials e-glass epoxy e-glass is the most common fiber reinforcement used in the composites world. it is heavier than s-glass but less expensive and has more flex than s-glass and carbon. a great board for the price, and the tip of our high-end line. starting at $420 s-glass epoxy s-glass is stronger and lighter than e-glass. combined with our advanced epoxy system, these boards are incredibly tough, as well as light. starting at $445 double carbon epoxy our dbl carbon epoxy boards are still our most sought after. we set the bar with this board, and continue to do so. carbon is practically synonymous with top of the line in any industry. this fabric is highly coveted for its extreme strength and stiff-ness. exile uses only aerospace grade carbon fiber, making these boards stronger, stiffer and a little lighter than our fiberglass boards. truly the best skimboard money can buy. starting at $489 weight (for dbl carbon epoxy only) competition weight for the rider that is willing to sacrifice a touch of strength to have the lightest, most responsive board in the world. standard weight our industry leading standard build thickness 5/8” (thin) more responsive but not quite as buoyant. 3/4” tapered to 5/8”(thick to thin) more buoyant and less responsive. all 3/4” boards come tapered to 5/8” in nose and tail, unless otherwise specified. 3/4” (thick throughout) 3/4” thick throughout for the rider looking for as much float as possible. this will be less responsive than the other options. concave deck our new concave decks give the skimboard a more skateboard-like feel. tried and tested by our top pro’s these are gaining popularity quickly. the board is ever so slightly thinned out from the rails inward towards the middle, making the middle slightly thinner for a more skateboard-like feel. add $20 convex deck the latest in our thickness technology, the convex deck offers optimal float with a 1” core tapering down at the rails. this allows the rider to gain the most float while still having rails that are thinned down to get maximum responsiveness. add $55 rail channels our new rail channels make your board even more rigid, stiff and strong than before. they also make for the perfect slot for your thumb to hold when dropping the board. a true win win situation. duraweight* added material for superior strength in tough conditions. preferred by riders in windy conditions add $20 .8. bottom art *these are just a few examples of resin art, and an example of custom hi res bottom art. let us know your ideas, and we will make them a reality! finish classic texture finish light, strong, durable, and preferred by riders who put more emphasis on performance than cosmetics. this is the finish the company was built on and the golden standard in which others imitate. nt finish (new texture finish) this finish combines the strength of our classic textured finish, with great cosmetics for improved looks with no compromise in strength. vertigo $25 twisted $25 glossy showroom finish. logos amalgram oval vanilla bold e-ball crown diagonal $25 hi res art $75 colors* cotton candy pink lavender royal purple salmon red cherry red glow orange peach mint teal deep blue light blue off white tan white snow cone yellow shade of gray canary yellow glow green bright green forest green .9. black grizzly brown clear carbon *pigments are hand mixed. colors and hues can vary board to board
blair conklin pro model for this year’s pro model, i felt it important to detail and clarify the graphics i chose for the top art. the bear paw’s symbolic meaning of strength and power in many different cultures caused me to select it as the graphic for my board. the bear paw also represents my grandfather’s spirit. his name was barry, but we preferred bear or fondly grandpa bear. he played a significant role in my development and is greatly responsible for who i am today. grandpa bear was courageous like no other and had a generous and caring personality as long as you weren’t ticking him off. in that case you would face the real wrath of the bear. every time i pick up my pro model, i am reminded that i am riding with him in my heart and in my soul. after drafting up the idea for this design in 2013, it just so happened i was accepted at the university of california, berkeley, whose mascot is the golden bear. i knew my chances of getting in to this school were slim to none. i believe that following my passion for skimboarding and the many learning experiences gained from traveling and competing in this sport were taken into consideration as my application was reviewed. i'm honored to be a part of this remarkable skimboarding family, and i am enthused to share with you a glimpse into the meaning behind my pro model art. ride with pride, keep charging, and i hope you love your new blair conklin pro model. cheers, blair conklin board details hybrid shape hybrid rocker competition weight 5/8” dbl carbon epoxy nt finish boxy rails $515 .10. .11.

skimfin™ the skimfin is a surfable skimboard shape. it could be the fastest surf device you will ever rider. we essentially took our standard skimboard rail technology for unmatched responsiveness and speed, and added thickness in the middle of the board to create more volume for paddling. with the assistance of people like brad domke, tom curren, kalani robb and more we were able to create this insanely fun, exciting surf craft for you. the skimfin™ is constructed using premium epoxy resin, high density eps compression core™ technology, and your choice of premium e-glass reinforcement or carbon fiber reinforcement. we currently offer two different shapes. the first, the ion, based off of our hybrid skimboard shape, and the dagger, based off of brad domke’s double dagger. they are all hand made right here in the usa, by the same great hands that have been building our skimboards for the past 14 years. the ion the ion is our original skimfin™. based on our ever so popular hybrid skimboard shape, the ion rides very similarly to our skimboards but with the addition of futures fins. the result is an incredibly responsive, and fast surf craft design to shake the can of conventionalism. get your feet on one today! ∙ premium epoxy resin ∙ high density eps compression core™ technology ∙ available in e-glass or carbon fiber reinforcement ∙ choice of futures fins setup.
